Interactive Furniture for California Academy of Science "Metamorphosis NightLife"

1. We will have 3-4 (possibly cardboard made) seating structure on the floor with different variation. There will be signs tells people it’s okay to push and play around with them.
2. By interacting with the structure, audiences will have a more fresh experience of metamorphosis. And hopefully they may also link the repetitive pattern of these variations back to continuum of life.
The structure is developed from continuous cube structure that commonly uses in paper packaging. By changing the scale, and looped transformation I’m presenting change/evolution in a poetic way while symbolizing the circle of patterns of life.
