Scenario:
The Acme Corp. Souvenir Doll Kiosk
allows customers to purchase a customized doll so that they can remember their
wonderful experience at landmarks such as the Eifel Tower, the Great Wall of
China and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The
kiosk is a large plexi-glass cylinder 2m x 3m tall. Inside is a 3D printer that will create the
doll, each about 25cm tall. All user
interaction occurs via UI elements that are magically hovering in space. The menu and any other signage elements may
appear anywhere within a 5m radius from the kiosk. Discreet verbal commands are also available
if you choose to use them.
Customer options:
- Choose the gender of your doll
- Choose between one of five hair colors
- Choose between one of five skin colors
- Choose between one of five outfits for your doll
- You can choose to have the kiosk take a picture of you with your doll, with the landmark serving as the backdrop while you wait for the 3D printer to finish
